Again camping at Gott,I checked the wind at 5.30-zip:(
Peter then texts to to say the wind is 'tantalising' at his house at 18 kts !!! but offshore,so we check Crossapol and Soroby Bays but much lighter :( I decide to take my 7.5 and zantos and give Crossapol ago.I left all my other kit in the dunes at Gott (where else in the world could you safely do that) and set up on the cliffs at Crossapol and walked towards the waves knowing there was not enough wind to get going.This prediction proved right as I floundered across the bay afew times,it was so close but sadly just not enough !!! So with my longboard in my garage 600 miles away when a sail around the island was calling me - I will return :)
